Special keyboard instruments

Under the heading of ’Special keyboard instruments’ such instruments are listed and presented that cannot naturally be ranged under the main groups of strung keyboard instruments and reed organs and their self-playing variants. It is a collection of miscellaneous instruments having a large extent from a remarkable experiment keyboard instrument with resonance strings that was probably made in the 1760s to the two electronic organs from the 1950s and 1970s which may represent the paradigm shift from acoustic to electronic instruments.
